CAGE Gymnastics has been operating under our current name and ownership since 2001. The facility itself has been serving Topeka since 1987! We are here because we love the sport, we love the athletes and we couldn't be more happy to pass on our knowledge and passion to the next generation of future coaches:)
What drives us Our staff encourage basic principles that go beyond physical activity and training in the gym to help create a healthy mental attitude, in addition to a healthy body.
Owner - Triny Tolbert
Triny has been involved with CAGE since 1999. Her background as a competitive gymnast and dancer instilled a love for the sport and the athletes making it an easy decision to move from a coaching position in Olathe to managing and then owning CAGE Gymnastics. Triny is particularly interested in the mental training aspect of coaching and enjoys the challenge of working through goal setting, facing fears and confidence building with her athletes. Her favorite event to coach is balance beam followed closely by uneven bars. She lives south of Topeka and enjoys competitive trail and endurance riding with her 5 horses in her spare time.
Jade Mortenson - Dance Director (picture coming soon) Jade is the Dance Director and Dance Team Coach. She has been with CAGE & TNT since 2007. She has a genuine passion for dance and enjoys passing on her knowledge and joy for dancing to her students. Jade has been dancing for 12 years and is trained in Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballet and Hip Hop.
Chambrlyn Gaddy - Team Coach and Office Assistant Chambrlyn has been at CAGE since the age of 7. She was a competitive gymnast for a few years and then went on to coaching her own classes. Now Chammie has a little girl of her own and works full time coaching team and in the office.
Kelly Beck - Cheer Coach and Rec Gymnastics Coach Kelly has Coached 21 national AAU Tumbling and
Trampoline Titles and 57 state titles! Kelly’s team was National Cheer
Champion 2007 and 2010 at Level 4. She has coached many High school
regional championships, is Pilates certified, as well as certified as
an AAU Coach and Judge. She was nominated as Coach of the year in 2007
and is Safety certified, first aid and CPR certified. She has owned and
operated Zero Gravity in Oklahoma for 14 years. Kelly is very loved and trusted by
her students and is a fun, enthusiastic, capable and talented coach - we
are absolutely thrilled to have Kelly on staff at CAGE and TNT.
