  SuperTots
Description: Parent-assisted class designed to introduce toddlers to basic gymnastics positions and the “tot-sized” equipment. Good exercise for student and parent!
Age: 18 months to 2 ˝

Munchkins
Description: A step up from SuperTots, this class is designed to let toddlers go with an instructor so that mom/dad can watch. Students begin to work on taking directions from a coach and get to take a turn in the “big gym”!

Mighty Munchkins
Description: This class is a bit longer than Munchkins and requires students to be potty-trained and at least 3 years old. Children spend a little more time in the “big gym” but still start off their class in the Tots Room on “tot-sized” equipment. More positions and skills are introduced.

Pre-Gym 1
Description: The Pre-Gym classes are designed for 4 and 5 year olds. Students work on balance, strength, flexibility and coordination as well as basic gymnastics skills. Cartwheels and handstands are introduced by working on progressions and more “big kid” equipment is utilized. The Pre-Gym classes spend about 10 to 15 minutes in the Tot’s Room and the remainder of the class in the “big gym”.

Pre-Gym 2
Description: Students must complete Pre-Gym 1 prior to enrolling in this class. Cartwheels, backward rolls, straddle forward rolls, pull-overs on bars and jumping on beam are examples of skills the children should be familiar with before attending this class. Progressions for harder skills will be introduced. This class is designed to feed into the Level 2 class when children turn 6.
Age: 4 & 5 year olds
Skills required: Teeter-Totter hop, Headstand against wedge, Fwd. roll, Cartwheel drill, 5 positions, Bridge (no head), Front support fwd roll on bar, skin the cat on bar. See skill sheet in the gym for complete list.

Pre-Gym 3
Description: Teacher recommendation only. Advanced class.

Flip-Hop
Description: Hip Hop AND Gymnastics combo class. Please note that this class is broken up into two age groups. Each class consists of a 30 minute hip hop portion and a 30 minute gymnastics portion. This class is designed for the beginning or advanced beginning student. If you want to get a better idea of what hip hop is all about but don’t want to take 2 separate classes per week, this is the class for you! Dancers: Want to try gymnastics but don’t know if you will like it? Try Flip Hop!
Age: 5-7 year olds, 7-10 year olds
Dress Requirements: Leotard, hot-shorts or capris, clean tennis shoes and hair pulled back.

Combo Kids 1
Description: Ballet AND Gymnastics combo class. Each class consists of a 30 minute ballet portion and a 30 minute gymnastics portion. This class is designed for the beginning student. If you want to try different things but don’t want to take 2 separate classes per week, this is the class for you!
Age: 3-5 year olds
Dress Requirements: Leotard, pink ballet slippers, hair pulled back.

  Combo Kids 2
Description: Ballet, Tap AND Gymnastics combo class. For the first 4 weeks students will do 30 minutes of ballet and 30 minutes of gymnastics each class. For the last 4 weeks, students will do 30 minutes of tap and 30 minutes of gymnastics each class. The last week of the session will be a review of everything they have learned. This class is designed for the beginning or advanced beginning student. Always wanted to try Tap but don’t know if you’ll like it? Give Combo Kids a try!
Age: 5-7 year olds
Dress Requirements: Leotard, pink ballet slippers, tap shoes (you can rent these from the studio), hair pulled back.

Level 1
Description: Beginning gymnastics for students 6 years old and up. Please note that this class is broken up into two age groups. This class introduces flexibility/stretching, positions and skills on each of the 4 events; Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam and Floor Exercise.
Age: 6-8 year olds, 9-12 year olds
Skills required: None

Level 2
Description: Advanced beginning gymnastics for students age 6 and up. Please note that this class is broken up into two age groups. Students will build on their basics, work up to harder drills and stations and do more challenging maneuvers on bars and beam. Gymnasts should have passed Level 1 prior to enrolling in this class.
Age: 6-8 year olds, 9-12 year olds
Skills required: Basic vault technique, pullover/cast/back hip circle on bars, candlestick on beam, arabesque on beam, cartwheel, backward roll and bridge. See skill sheet in the gym for complete list.

Level 3
Description: Intermediate level gymnastics for students age 6 and up. This class is for the gymnast who has mastered the basics and is ready to move on to skills requiring more strength, flexibility and concentration. Students will continue to work on all four events and should pass Level 2 prior to enrolling.
Age: 6 years old and up
Skills required: Pullover, cast, back hip circle, straddle on sole circle dismount on bars, headstand, arch back, backward roll to pike stand, handstand hold, fwd roll on low beam, tuck jump on beam & backhandspring down a wedge or on TumblTrak. See skill sheet in the gym for complete list.
Student/Teacher Ratio: 8 to 1

Length: 9 weeks, 50 minute classes


Level 4/5
Description: Advanced level gymnastics for students who can complete their backhandspring on floor. These gymnasts are also working kips on bars and cartwheels and backwalkovers on balance beam. Must have a teacher recommendation or pass Level 3 to enroll in this class.
Age: 6 years old and up
Skills required: Backbend kickover, backward roll with straight arms to pike stand, round-off, handstand forward roll, single leg cut on bars, stride circle on bars, pike sole circle dismount, backhandspring. See skill sheet in the gym for more compete list.
